EVALUATION

The UCSC MRKTNG AWARDS has a clear and transparent evaluation system that guarantees objectivity and professionalism:

INDEPENDENCE

All decisions are made exclusively by the pointed jury members, without any influence from organizers or participants. Every aspect of the submission and evaluation process is strictly overseen by the reputable consulting companies Arzinger and Baker Tilly.

EXPERT JURY

An independent panel of leading industry professionals with no affiliation to the retail real estate sector in Ukraine, including invited experts from other countries.

  • Budget efficiency (ROI)

MULTI-LEVEL

Each submission goes through several rounds of assessment.
If necessary, materials may be reviewed or reclassified.

JUSTICE

The size of the shopping center or campaign budget does not affect the evaluation — only the idea, execution, and impact matter.

WHAT IS THE ENTRY PRICE?

Participation in the UCSC MRKTNG AWARDS 2025 is free.

The number of applications is unlimited. You can submit any number of applications.

Applications for participation in the Awards can be submitted by: shopping centers, developers, tenants, and agencies on their behalf.

Yes, of course!

No restrictions. All types of shopping centers, regardless of location and size, can apply.

No. One case must be registered to participate in only one category.

State your main goal in one sentence.

Determine the main KPI (traffic/sales, social media influence, social effect, etc.).

Compare with the category descriptions:

TACTICAL ACTIVATION – a campaign aimed at increasing traffic/sales;

BEST SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN – a campaign that primarily led to increased activity on social networks;

CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY – a campaign that had a social impact on the community.

CREATIVE OF THE YEAR – a campaign that will reflect your creative approach to the visual component of the team’s activities (layouts, photo zones, advertising, …)

If the case is "borderline", choose the category where the effect is strongest; if necessary, contact the organizing committee - the case may be transferred.

Since the vast majority of jury members are foreigners, all applications must be written in English.

When drawing up a budget, the cost must be indicated in EUR.

There are three prize places in each category depending on number of points scored:

  • Gold
  • Silver
  • Bronze

The evaluation is based on a methodology that has been used for many years at the international SOLAL MARKETING AWARDS.

This methodology has proven itself to be indisputable.

The evaluation process is as follows:

  1. Each jury member receives access to all submitted applications after the registration period ends.
  2. Jury members assign scores to each case.
  3. Based on the voting results of all jury members, an average score is calculated for each submitted case.

It is important to note that each jury member only sees their own scores and does not have access to the evaluation results of other colleagues.

Depending on the average score, the case falls into Gold, Silver, or Bronze.

That is, there can be several Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners in one nomination.

If the cases do not score the required number of points, there may not be any Gold, Silver, or Bronze winners at all.

Yes, an official awards ceremony is planned to be held at the end of November in Kyiv.
